Every quarter the Moscow Chamber of Commerce awards the STAR Award to a group that brings tourism to the Palouse.  This quarter’s Supporting Tourism and Recreation (STAR) Award goes to “Humble Burger- Modest Music Festival”.  Nate Wolff, Hannah Wolf and Chris Aberle from Humble Burger accepted the award for coordinating the Modest Music Festival.
Humble Burgers- Modest Music Festival ran October 7th and 8th, 2017.  There were over 600 attendees.  There were 36 bands that performed.  The Modest Music Festival chose to have a strong presence of local bands as well as bands from all over Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.  Humble Burger collaborated with Last Frontier Pizza Co., Mikey’s Greek Gyros and One World Café to provide special discounts for the attendees.  They also directed people via their Music Fest program to support downtown businesses including Martin’s Smokehouse, Slice and Biscuit, Mad Greek, La Casa Lopez, and Maialina Pizzeria Napoletana.   The 2017 sponsors included: NRS, Moscow Food Co-op, EMSI, Bucer’s Coffeehouse & Pub, The Storm Cellar, Patty’s Mexican Kitchen, Gritman Medical Center, Allegra Print and Imaging, Synthrotek, Hardmill, Prints Underground, Hunga Dunga, Whiskey Barrel Cider Co., Keeney Bros, and Carlton Electric.  They also formally partnered with the Latah Recovery Center to highlight their work in the Moscow community.
Humber Burger looks forward to continuing their Modest Music Festival in the Fall of 2018.
