Two resident artists at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown will be holding workshops for children during the month of March.

On March 11, from 1:30 to 3:00, Christie Zeoli will lead a culinary arts class for kids ages 5 and above where they will make mac ‘n’ cheese from scratch.  The class is a combination of hands-on and demonstration.   When the dish is complete, kids will feast on the results!  No previous cooking experience is necessary.  A parent may accompany the child, but that is not required.  The cost of this workshop is $15.  Registrations may be made online at the calendar listing for the class or by calling 509-229-3414.  We cannot accept registrations for this class after March 7.

On March 18 from 10 am to noon, resident artist Donna Baker, who has taught children for years, will instruct children aged 6 to 10 in the basic steps of drawing a horse or a small animal such as a dog or cat by using simplified forms and shapes.  The class fee of $20 includes the materials for this topic.  Registrations must be made by Monday, March 12 from the online class calendar listing or by calling 509-229-3414.
